Privacy
This site collects only what a visitor chooses to send: a message, or an address for the mailing list. It also counts visits, without identifying anyone.
The Contact Form
The contact form sends a name, an email address, and a message to Daniel G. Harmann by email, through Formspree (opens in a new tab). Formspree keeps a copy of each message. Harmann uses these details only to reply.
The Mailing List
The signup form sends an email address to Mailchimp (opens in a new tab), which keeps the mailing list. Mailchimp first sends a message asking to confirm the address. The list receives new releases and occasional letters from the studio, and nothing else. The list is not shared or sold. Every email includes a link to unsubscribe.
Each email loads a small image from Umami (opens in a new tab), which counts how often the email is opened. Umami sets no cookies and does not identify readers.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks each signup for signs that it is automated. Most visitors are not asked to do anything.
Listening
Some recordings play from this site; the rest stream from Bandcamp (opens in a new tab), which receives each request to play one.
Hosting and Visits
Cloudflare (opens in a new tab) hosts the site and handles each visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts the visits to each page, the sites and countries they come from, and how quickly the pages load. It sets no cookies and does not identify visitors or follow them to other sites. Umami counts the same visits, along with the browser and kind of device used, also without cookies or identifying anyone. The site shows no advertising.
Questions
To ask what information is held, or to have it removed, write through the Contact page. To leave the mailing list, use the link in any email from it.
